Acceptable use policy
Last updated 2026-10-29
This policy is part of our terms of service. It applies to everyone who uses Notemark, including reviewers who open a share link without an account.
Pages you add
Only add a page or design as a canvas if you are allowed to review it: it is yours, your client's, or public. Do not use Notemark to get past a login, paywall, password or other access control you have not been given the key to. When you enter a storefront password or sign in to a site inside a canvas, you confirm you are entitled to.
Content
Do not post or upload anything that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, harasses or threatens a person, exposes someone's private information without their consent, or sexualises minors. Do not upload malware or links meant to deceive people who open them.
The proxy and the extension
Do not use the canvas proxy, screenshot rendering or the browser extension to attack a site, load it at a rate that burdens its servers, scrape it, or reach addresses on a private network. The proxy refuses private and local addresses, and trying to get around that is a breach of this policy.
The service itself
Do not probe, scan or load test Notemark without our written permission, try to defeat plan limits or rate limits, share one account between several people to avoid paying for seats, or resell the service. Do not send automated requests except through the API, MCP server and integrations we provide.
Reporting a problem
To report content or behaviour that breaks this policy, or a security issue, email support@notemark.app with the canvas or share link concerned. Please do not test a vulnerability against other people's data.
What we do about it
We may remove content, turn off a share link or suspend a workspace that breaks this policy, and we tell the workspace owner why. For serious or repeated breaches we may close the account under our terms of service.
